THE STORY

A wine named Fountain of Youth has a job to do. This one does it.

Cold in the glass, bright on the tongue, gone faster than you meant it to be. It comes from Wilson Vineyard in Clarksburg, where cold afternoon wind rolls off the Sacramento Delta and keeps the fruit bright and alive. Hand-harvested. Stainless steel only. No oak, no softening, no second-guessing.

78 cases. One vineyard, one vintage. The white that makes the rest of the week feel like it's catching up to you.

TASTING NOTES

Cold and clean from the first sip. White peach and apricot up front, with orange blossom curling underneath. Then it gets interesting — a flicker of sea salt, a brush of wild fennel pollen, something that tastes like peppery rose petal. The finish lingers longer than you expect, with a hint of green tea at the end. Bone dry, high acid, alive in the glass.

VINEYARD + WINEMAKING

Wilson Vineyard sits in the Clarksburg AVA, where the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta sends cold afternoon breezes through the vines every summer. Temperature swings — sometimes 40°F between day and night — slow ripening down and lock in natural acidity while flavor develops fully.

Clay-loam soils add mineral depth. Hand-harvested at peak ripeness. Fermented entirely in stainless steel — no oak contact, no additions — to preserve every bit of the grape's aromatics and varietal character.

  • Each wine is a one-and-done drop — typically 40–120 cases total — and when it sells out, it disappears forever. No reruns. No mass production. Just Northern California vineyards, bottled in micro-lots.

  • Every wine is dry, fresh, food-friendly, and built for real life — not a cellar (although our reds do get better with age). Albariño and Chenin are crisp and zesty; the rosé is vibrant and bold; the reds are structured but balanced, never over-extracted or overly oaked.

  • We source from small, thoughtfully farmed vineyards across Northern California — Clarksburg, Amador, Sierra Foothills, Calistoga — and work with growers who prioritize organic and responsible practices. Everything is single-vineyard, single-vintage, picked for freshness, fermented clean, and made with as little intervention as possible.

  • Half Full was born from a decade of garage winemaking and one stubborn idea: optimism is something you make, not something you wait for. We bottle single-vineyard wines with a point of view — design-forward, story-first, and rooted in Northern California. Honest wines. No pretense. Made for people who want something they can feel, not just taste.
